Elizabeth Adams Last Will and Testament
In the Name of God Amen!
I Elizabeth Adams a resident of Douglas County, State of Oregon, being of sound mind and memory Considering the uncertainty of life do hereby make publish and declair this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void any will by me at any time heretofore made.
First, I order and direct my executors as soon after my decease as practicable to pay of and discharge all the debts dues and liabilities that may exist against me at the time of my death.
Second, I give and bequeath unto each of my brothers and sisters five dollars each: that is to say unto William Deshazers heairs five dollars: Jemima New five dollars Robert Deshazer five dollars John Deshazer five dollars John Deshazer five dollars Mary Mathews five dollars Alford Deshazer vie dollars: Francis Mathews five dollars.
Third: I give and bequeath unto my executives Jeptha Thornton and Josiah Thornton whom I hereby nominate and appoint as my Executors of this my last Will and testament all the remainder of my estate both real and personal of whatsoever kind and nature of which I may die seized In trust for Jemima New and Alford Deshazer if living at my decease to be applied by my siad Executors in giveing to each of the said Jemima New and Alford Deshazer a decent and comefortable liveing dureing each of their lives, and at their decease to give each of them a plain Christian buriel. And at the death of the said Jemima New and Alfred Deshazier the remainder of said estate to be and remain the property of my said Executors Jeptha Thornton and Josiah Thornton ad their heirs forever.
In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 29th day of May 1886.
