"DEATH OF EZRA FREY [sic] - WELL KNOWN DAIRYMAN OF BRIDGEPORT PASSED AWAY AFTER SHORT ILLNESS. Ezra Frey [sic] died at 6:30 o'clock this morning at the family
residence in Bridgeport after a short illness of five days. Mr. Frey [sic] has been ailing for the past year but it was only the latter part of last week that his illness assumed dangerous symptoms, resulting in his death early this morning. Angina pectoris was the fatal illness and Mr. Frey's [sic] demise was a shock to his family and friends alike. Born in Bristol, England, Dec. 11, 1847, he was married in 1868. Over thirty years ago he came to this country and settled in this county and for a great many years he has resided at the family residence in Bridgeport. He was a dairyman by occupation and as such became well known throughout this community. In business he was universally respected and at the home he was a kind and considerate father and a loving husband. His wife and three daughters, Mrs. R. R. Darwin, of this city; Mrs. Charles F. Berger [sic], of Kochville and Miss Cora, at home, survive. Deceased was a member of Lincoln tent No. 113, K. O. T. M. M., of the south side. The funeral arrangements have not been completed. The interment will be in Bridgeport cemetery."
