John M. Slominski passed away 11:30 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 1973 at the Heritage Nursing Home. Age 75 years. He was born August 12, 1897 in Detroit coming to Saginaw 70 years ago. He had served with the U.S. Army during world War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 22 and had been employed at the Allied Tool and Die Co. before retiring. Surviving are four brothers and four sisters; Martin and Anthony Slominski, both of Tawas, Harold and Leo Slominski, Mrs. Frances Burzyck, Mrs. Regina Zolinski and Mrs. Leo (Agenes) Grzesiak, all of Saginaw, Mrs. Willard (Eleanor) Baker of Eaton Rapids, several nieces.....burial in Mt. Olivet Cemtery
