Bobbie Lee Johnson Marcin "Mawie" died at 9:03 PM June 27, 2010 in a local healthcare facility.
She is survived by two daughters, Lana Dee Rigmaiden and husband Hubert Rigmaiden of Kingwood, Texas and Glenda Sue Baggett and husband Tim Baggett of Lake Charles, La; four grandchildren, Kim Bruns of Kingwood, Texas, Rohn McManus of Lake Charles, La, Jill Laughlin, and Glyn Baggett, both of Lake Charles, La; eight great-grandchildren, Abigayle and Brynlee Laughlin, Savannah Bruns, Tiffany, Morgan and Riley McManus and Sidney and Josie Baggett.

All of her family knew her affectionately as "Mawie". She is preceded in death by husband George Marcin and brother J. L. Johnson. Mrs. Marcin was born in Leesville, La. on June 13, 1925. She spent her childhood in LeBlanc, La. and graduated from Reeves High School. She worked briefly at Bell South. Her advanced education was attained at Sowela Technical Institute, where she received her L.P.N. license. The rest of her working career was spent at St. Patrick Hospital, retiring after 27 years. She was a member of The Moss Bluff Pentecostals.

Mrs. Marcin will be most remembered for her quick, dry wit, with a hint of sarcasm and her unconditional love of her family. Home Going Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in The Moss Bluff Pentecostals Church. Visitation Tuesday will be from 5:00 PM until the time of service in the church. Pastor Tim Mahoney and Rev. Ryan Laughlin will officiate. Interment services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in Creel Cemetery in Reeves, La.
