Military funeral services for Ora Wells, 39 years old, World war veteran, who died at 5:40 o'clock Friday afternoon at a veterans' hospital in Tucson, Arizona, will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the Clark funeral chapel here. Burial will be made in Hill Crest cemetery(Galena). The body arrived here this morning and was received by the Clark Undertaking company.
Wells, who had been ill a long time with tuberculosis, left here early in January for Tucson where he entered the hospital. He had resided here and in Crestline all his life.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Oma Wells, 500 East Fifth street; two sons, Archie Wells who resides with his grandmother in Texas and Bobby Wells at home; his mother, Mrs. Susanna Wells of Crestline; two sisters, Mrs. John Wellman of Quaker Valley and Mrs. Jennie Ferguson of Long Beach California; and four brothers, Fred, Arch, and Otis Wells of Crestline and Roy Wells of California.
