Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Miles Walsworth officiating. Burial was in the Siloam Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Winn Parish.
Survivors are two sons, Maurice Brown, Jr., of East Point, Ga., and Joe Bob Brown of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. John Rogers of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Ann Wyatt of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Louis Sholars of Winnfield and Randell Sholars of Edna, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Walsworth of Ponchatoula and Mrs. Ebba Raywinkle of East Point, Ga., and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Marvin Carraway, Shelby Avery, Claude O'Bryan, Francis Walsworth, Woodrow Gough, and Lee Wood.
