Yvonne Smith Warner, 67, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2003, after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was a longtime resident of East Ridge. She was born in Mount Vernon, ILL. on Aug. 15, 1935 to Diamond and Doris Smith. She married Donald E. Warner on Sept. 5, 1959.

Yvonne was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, a former president of the Chattanooga Jaycettes and involved in various civic and church activities.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald E. Warner, Jr. and Derek Warner, and her father, Diamond Smith.
