Rebecca married 1st George Washington Koontz in 1837. They had a son John Jacob Koontz, b. 22 Oct 1838 in Frederick Co., MD. George died 16 Nov 1839.
Rebecca then married Henry Nelson Castle on 30 Apr 1841 in Frederick, MD. Henry had also had a first marriage & he had two children from that union: James W. b. 1836 & Charlotte E. b. 1840 both in Middletown.
Rebecca & Henry's children were: George W. (1842), & his twin, Daniel W. (1842), Elenora R."Ellen"(1846), Joseph Emory (1847), & Charles B. (1850).
