OBITUARY
Allison, Sue
August 30, 1927 - May 27, 2015

Sue Allison, mother of Brad Allison and Kim Taylor, from Dallas, Texas lived a long, fruitful life. Sue passed away on Wednesday, May 27th. She was born in Corsicana, Texas and spent most of her life in Dallas, Texas. Her brother, McAfee Daniel, was her best friend. Sue was known for her class, stubbornness, and her musical talent. Every day she looked forward to playing the piano (which she taught herself by hearing). However, she was an exceptional pianist and was asked many times to play both in church and her community. In watching her at family occasions, people would often see her tapping a beat with her fingers and toes.

Sue, during her childhood, was an exceptional softball player! She also loved to devour homemade cooked meals and enjoyed watching her grandkids play in her swimming pool. She was also known for her beauty; both fashion and classy attire were important to her. She would say, "I need to put on my lipstick before I take out the garbage."

Last but not least, she loved The Lord. Her life was devoted to the church. She would listen to praise music and hymns daily. Sue spent many Sundays at Trinity in Irving and then fell in love with both Pastor Stan and Donna at Lovers Lane; thus switched her membership. Here at Lovers Lane she joined a woman's bible study and even took Jazzercise! Sue, or as her grandchildren would call her Mimi or Grammy, had moves! She was blessed by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Family was very important to her! We will miss you, Mimi!
A visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M., with a funeral service to follow at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, May 31st, 2015 at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church located 9200 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas 75220. Burial to follow at Emmett Cemetery on Navarro County.
