Mrs. Anna Bean, 72, wife of R. F. Bean, died at their home in Jacksonville about 6:30 last night. Death was caused by pneumonia, although Mrs. Bean had been an invalid and in poor health for about eight years.
Mrs. Bean had lived at Jacksonville for about twenty years and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star there. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Ash.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Herbert Bean of Duncan's Bridge, and George and William Bean of Madison; one sister, Mrs. Herriett Bennett, Jacksonville; and three grandchildren.
Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
