Martha B. Worden, 87, Marion, died at 10:46 am Wednesday in Marion General Hospital.
She was born in Marion to the late Harry and Fern (Sample) Percy. She married Raymond Worden on June 6, 1942, he died on Nov. 3, 1987.
Martha retired from Gen Corp. She was a Cubs and Pacer fan and enjoyed watching their games on TV.
She is survived by children, Gaynor Worden, Syracuse, Terri (Tim) Webb, Marion; grandchildren, Josh (Erin) Worden, Indianapolis, Jason Stearns, Marion, Ryne Webb, Indianapolis, Jami Shoemaker, North Webster, Tami Whalgren, Syracuse, Michelle Palarmo, Ft. Wayne, Shawn Stanley, Ft. Wayne; 17 great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Worden; parents, Harry and Fern Percy; and daughter Tammy Stearns.
Memorial service is at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Gethsemane Episcopal Church, 111 E. Ninth St., with Father Jim Warnock officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park.
Visitation is from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
