George A. Tillman, retired farmer of Flippin, died Sunday evening at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. He was 91. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Garner's Ripley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Born in Lauderdale County, he was the oldest member of Flippin Cumberland Presbyterian Church in which he serves as Sunday School superintendent 15 years and as an elder. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Emma Caldwell Tillman; two sons, Hubert Tillman of Ripley, Ralph Tillman of Bator Rouge, La.; three daughters, Mrs. Herman Milam, Mrs. Emmett White and Mrs. Jamie L McMahan, all of Ripley, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
