Bertha E. Anderson, 88, of West Chester, died Monday June 21, 2010, at Tel Hai Nursing Center.
She was the wife of the late George W. Anderson.
Born in Thornton, she was the daughter of the late William H. Grow and the late Phebe Smiley Grow.
She was a member of the Society of Descendants of Washington's Army at Valley Forge and the Octorara Chapter of the DAR.
Bertha is survived by her son, Robert K. Anderson and his wife Bonnie, of Pottstown.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service, 10 a.m. Friday, June 25, at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home Inc., 410 N. Church St., West Chester, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com.
Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.
