Frieda Finger Smith, age 93, peacefully fell asleep in the Lord on June 14, 2010 at her home in Erie, CO.
Frieda was born on April 9, 1917 in Heilbronn, Germany to Gottlob and Karoline Frank. She came to America (New Jersey) in 1937 and married Christian Finger on November 11, 1939. He died May 27, 1967. Frieda was a homemaker for her husband and 6 children and moved to Colorado in July 1975.
Frieda Finger married Levi Byron Smith on June 3, 1980 in Broomfield, CO. He died July 28,1982.
She was an active member of Harvest Baptist Church in Gunbarrel (Boulder) CO for many years.
She was committed to her family and was especially known for her wonderful cooking and warm hospitality. She loved to study the Bible and hosted several Bible studies in her home over the years.
The children of Frieda are Robert (Andree) of Johnstown, CO; Christian Jr. (Barbara) of Niwot, CO; Ruth Anne Diaz (deceased); Walter of Beulah, CO; Bruce (Becky) of Loveland, CO; and Sandra (Damon) Garcia of Erie, CO.

The Funeral Service will be Friday, June 18, 2010 at 11:00 am at Harvest Baptist Church followed by a luncheon reception. Interment will follow at Niwot Cemetery.
