Daughter of Miles Mullenix and Margaret Vestal. Wife of: #1: Oliver Perry Magee and # 2: the second wife of George "Sam" Arnaman. Sarah is buried next to her first husband.

SARAH BELLE ARNAMAN

Mrs. Sarah Belle Arnaman, wife of Sam Arnaman of Jefferson St., Unionville, died the night of March 26, 1959 in Monroe Hospital just six days after her 86th birthday. She had been in failing health for several years.

Born March 20, 1874 at Graysville, she was the daughter of the late Miles H. and Margaret Mullenix. For some 30 years she was married to the late O.P Magee and to them were born nine children, three of whom survive them. Her first husband being a school teacher, she lived for varying periods at Promise City, Seymour, Millerton, Ledyard and Baldwin, Ia., and Lowry, South Dakota, before returning to Putnam County in 1924.

After residing about 10 years in and near Hartford, she married Sam Arnaman near Hartford on October 7, 1943. They moved into Unionville several years ago.

Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, James S. Magee of Bell Fourche, South Dakota, Claude D. Magee of Breckenridge, Mo., and Lieutenant Colonel Oscar J. Magee of San Antonio, Texas, a brother, Dee Mullenix Queen City, Mo., a sister, Mrs. Mada Crooks of Unionville; and by numbers grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Husted Funeral Home. Internet was in Unionville Cemetery.
