JO ANNE BISHOP
JO ANNE BISHOP, 75, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Logansport, she worked as a bookkeeper with Commonwealth Drieibelbiss for 20 years, retiring in 2006. She attended The Chapel. Jo was quick-witted and enjoyed a good laugh. She was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jerry Bishop of Fort Wayne; daughter, Janet (Larry) Ashabranner of Corydon; brother, Frank (Carol) Carney of Logansport; sister, Judy Carney of Peru; step-grandchildren, Kevin and Steven; and four step-great-grandchildren. Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road, with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Rick Hawks officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to The Chapel or Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
