She was born June 26, 1901, in Carlisle, the daughter of Harry and Jennie Kitner Lier [sic].
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Carlisle, and a former housekeeper at the Carlisle Hospital.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Jennie Adams, Homewood Retirement Center, Carlisle; one step-brother, George Melvin Adams, Largo, Fla., and a niece; Mrs. Thelma Dietz, Carlisle.
Private services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover St., with the Rev. Thomas R. Springman and Rev. Drue A. Sherman officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
