Anne Lightfoot, Obituary May 1950, Widnes, Lancashire, England


Mrs. Anne Lightfoot, of 5 Moss Street, Widnes, died on Thursday of last week only a fortnight after the passing of her husband, Mr. James Lightfoot, whose funeral was reported in our last issue. Mrs. Lightfoot attended St Marie's Church.

The funeral took place at the Borough Cemetery on Monday, following Requiem Mass at St Marie's Church the Rev. Fr. McLindon officiating.

Her oldest daugher, Anne Lloyd and her children Terrance, John, Marguerite, and Nellie, who live in Widnes and Dylis and her husband, Tommie , and daughter Carol Anne , living in Crockett, Texas USA, also were unable to attend.

Anne and James were married on May 22, 1893.
