Almeda Rose Alexander, 95, of Paris died Thursday, May 30, 2002 at Christus St. Joseph's Hospital South.
Funeral services and burial will be in Denver, Colo. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of local arrangements.

She was born June 15, 1906 in Bisbee, Ariz., to Robert and Elizabeth Spence Todd. She married Garland G. Alexander on Aug. 16, 1924 in Tombstone, Ariz. He died May 29, 1985.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Wright of Paris and Judy Clark of Fort Worth; six grandchildren including Roxanne Raper of Paris; thirteen great-grandchildren including Steve Shomake of Paris and Gina Shoemake Korczynski of Maryville, Tenn.; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
