Funeral services for SAMUEL BAILEY will be held at the residence in Crawfordsville and another service at 2:30 in Pleasant Hill Church. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Bailey was born in Ireland, Dec. 26, 1823. He came to this country with his parents and settled in Pennsylvania. He was married to Miss Isabel McMurray in 1855. They had 10 children. Mrs. Bailey died in 1872. He married Miss Anna Sayre on Oct. 28, 1891.

Mr. Bailey was the father of the following children: Albert Bailey of Arkansas, Douglas Bailey of Clarinda, Iowa, Robert of Iowa, Harry of Diagonal, Iowa, Gibson of Washington, Lemon Bailey of Jewell Co., Kansas, Mrs. Lizzie Culp who died a few weeks ago of Columbus City, Mrs. Cynthia Fishburn, William Bailey, and Mrs. S. P. Conrad of Crawfordsville.
