Private Clarence Anderson enlisted in the US Army in Los Angeles, California on January 5th 1899. Upon enlistment Anderson was assigned to Company E, 3rd Infantry Regiment and was serving in the Philippines where he died from tuberculosis. Anderson had previously served with Company M, 71st New York Volunteer Infantry and was discharged on November 15th 1898.
