R.A. Henthorn has finished his quest for a better house in which to live. Mr. Henthorn has lived in North Yakima a little more than two years, and was eighty-one years old when he came here. With his stooped shoulders and always carrying a cane, he was a familiar figure for more than a year in real estate offices, where he sought to rent a better home, declaring his willingness to pay as much as $8 a month for it, although that was more than he ever had to pay in Missouri.

For the last few months, Mr. Henthorn and his aged wife, depending partly upon the associated charities for subsistence, have lived in a building back of a repair shop on North First street. Several days ago he was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital and died there this morning of heart disease.
North Yakima, Wash., Daily Jan. 3, 1913

Mrs. I.J. Gutchess, who is visiting at North Yakima, sent The Signal the above. Mr. Henthorn was a resident of Farimont for many years and was especially well known as the sexton of the Fairmont cemetery.
