My great grandmother.
Wife of William Madison Cooper
Mother of Evelyn, Lola, Wilma and Joyce

Grandma Cooper was such a kind soul. She never ever had a harsh word to say about anything and was a very gentle and graceful lady.

Grandma loved to sew, she made the most beautiful handmade quilts you have ever seen all my hand. She use to make me clothes for my barbie's when I was little.

She use to take me "brown bagging" when I was a kid. She would give me a small brown bag and she and I and her dog Snoopy would go for walks and find "treasures" that we would put n the brown bag. Once back at her house we would sit out on the pourch on her swing and go thru our treasures... pretty rocks, big leaves, buttons, pennies,or whatever we had found that trip. He dog, Snoppy liked Mountain Dew cans.. so he would always manage to find one to cary around and bring home with him...lol

We would sit out on that pouch for hours just talking and telling stories.

Sunday's were very important to Grandma Cooper, it was her day of prayer and reflection. She would not sew, wash clothes, watch tv or even cook on sunday. She would go to chuch in the morning, come home and read her bible all day and then go back to chuch that evening.

Grandma made the worlds best peanut butter fudge and also handmade appple butter. She loved to can and cook and was amazing at it.

Grandma never once had a drivers liscense nor did she ever drive a car. But she loved to GO.... her favorite places were anywhere that had sewing supplies.

I am so greatful and blessed to have had her for my great grandmother. She taught me so much and filled our lives with such love.

Grandma Copper lived in Petersburg, Pike Co Indiana most of her life.

We love and miss you Grandma and we will never ever forget you.
