Harriet L. Burmeier, 83, of Aurora, passed away Monday, April 16, 2001 at Alderwood Nursing Home in So. Elgin.
    She was born Dec. 23, 1917 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of the late Ronald and Loree (Tedford) MacDougall.
    Complete funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 So. Broadway (Route 25), Montgomery, where friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2001.

Harriet L. Burmeier, 83, of Aurora, passed away Monday, April 16, 2001 at Alderwood Nursing Home in So. Elgin. She was born December 23, 1917 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of the late Ronald and Loree (Tedford) Mac Dougall.
    Mrs. Burmeier was a past member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Aurora and was employed as secretary at Thor Power Tool in Aurora for over 18 years until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution Aurora Chapter #5-007-11.
    She is survived by her daughter, Barbara J. Biddle of Batavia; one son, William T. (Ellen) Burmeier, Sr. of Aurora; two grandsons, Andrew T. (Jennifer) Biddle of St. Charles and William T. Burmeier, Jr. of Aurora; one nephew, Gary (Barbara) Suttner of Belleville, IL.
    She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George M. Burmeier (Nov. 2000) and her parents.
    Funeral services for Mrs. Burmeier will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2001 at the Dieterle Memorial Home. 1120 S. Broadway (Rt. 25), Montgomery at 11 a.m. The Rev. John S. Hall will officiate with interment in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at the Dieterle Memorial Home from 5 to 8 p.m.
