Born: April 26, 1926 in Lorena, Texas to Leonard and Nannie Mae Attaway Weatherby, Jean spent her formative years in McGregor, Texas and went on to graduate from North Texas State University. She was a charter member of All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas and an active member of The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. Jean was preceded in death by her husbands Joseph William Brice Jr. and Herbert John Buschmann. She is survived by sons Joseph W. Brice III and wife Brenda and Barry E. Buschmann and wife Monica, grandchildren Holly Brice-Garcia, Matthew J. Brice, Andy Charles Buschmann and Zachery John Buschmann and two great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Joseph Brice,Andy Charles Buschmann, Zachery John Buschmann, Mike Garcia, Rick Adams, Matthew Jenkins. Honorary Pallbearers Stella and Klaus Wiemer, Kenneth and Wanda Jones, Lexie and George Davis, Betty andTom Butler Joan and Tony Bunker and Katie and Art Bissonet. Jean had a wonderful love of life and people. Travel and bridge were two of her favorite past times. She was very close to her family and loved them very much. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers throughout Jean's five year battle with breast cancer. A rosary and Vigil will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday June 15, 2010 at All Saints Catholic Church, 5231 Meadowcreek Dr. Dallas, TX 75248. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday also at All Saints with Rev. Tom Cloherty Presiding, interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. If desired the family would like memorials to be made in Jean's name to the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure P.O. Box 650309 Dallas, TX 75265-0309
