Funeral services for Henry B. McClellan, Jr., 56, of Goodman were held at 3:00 p.m. in McDaniel Auditorium-Holmes Community College, Goodman. Rev. Bobby Wilson, Gene Richardson and Dr. Starkey Morgan officiated. Burial was Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington with Southern Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McClellan died of cardiac arrest on Friday, April 23, 1999 at his home in Goodman.
A native of Lexington, he attended Lexington High School, Holmes Community College and Mississippi State University. He was executive vice president of Holmes Community College and member of Main Street Baptist Church in Goodman, Masonic Lodge, Holmes County Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include: wife, Sherry McClellan of Goodman; mother, Minnie J. McClellan of Lexington; son, Henry Bailey McClellan, Flowood; daughters, T Carnathan of Lexington and McBride of Madison; brothers, Jimmy D. McClellan of Yazoo City and Samuel J. McClellan of Lexington; sister, Melanie M. Harris of Lexington and two grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were Steve Caldwell, Robert Poole, Cunningham, Daryl Williams

Honorary pallbearers were: Members of the Board of Trustees of Holmes Community College, Quinby Dr. Tom Kilgore, Don , Malcolm Phillips, George , Harold Hammett, Jr., Bobby ,Starkey Morgan, Reid Thorne, Aldy, and Dr. John Downer.
