"Gibson, At his home in Washington Twp. June 30, 1890 David Gibson aged 70 yrs. 4 mo. and 15 days.
Mr. Gibson was born and raised near Freeport, moved to Washington Twp. in 1854 and has resided there since. His widow and 8 children: John, who lived on the old homestead, A.S. of Maharg, D.E. of North Hope; G.W. of Bruin; M.L. of Butler; Mrs. S.E. Burkhalter of Joplin, Mo: Mrs. Mary J Armstrong of Diamond, Mo; and Mrs. Leah Everett, of North Hope, survive him."
