Robert Royce Acklen, 26, 2004 Leopard, died in a local hospital
early today. He had been ill for some time. A resident here for four years,
Acklen was a driver for the Huckman Trucking Co.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Acklen; a son; his father, Charles H. Acklen of Corpus Christi; his mother, Mrs. Jean Mustin of Alice; two brothers, Charles Acklen of San Francisco, Calif., and Lavelle Acklen of Houston, and his grandmother, Mrs. Mary O'Neil of Alice.
Funeral arrangements are to be announced by Cage-Mills Funeral Home.

will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Cage-Mills Funeral Chapel.
