Andrew Marshal Majure, 53, resident of Houston, died at 10 a.m. Friday at his residence at 3500 Telepone Rd, Houston.
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Monday in James Crowder Funeral home with Rev Ralph Bucy, pastor of the La Marque Presbyterian Church officiating.
Burial was in Galveston Memorial Cemetery in Hitchcock.
Born March 3, 1916, at Newton, Mississippi, Majure had been a resident of Houston
for the past 12 years.
He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Navy. He was a member of the National Maritime Union.
Survivors include Ms father, Kirby D. Majure of Chunky, Mississippi; two sisters, Mildred Martin of La Marque and Mary Thomas of Auburn, California; four brothers, Robin Majure of Torrance, California, C. E. Majure of Meridian, Mississippi, A. L. Majure of Witchita, Kansas and Dave Majure of Shawnee-Misslon, Kansas.
