MRS. BARR'S FUNERAL

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie W. Barr, wife of Clell W. Barr, Vermont Avenue, Burnham were conducted at Fretz Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon, 2:30 o'clock. Her pastor, Rev. Dennis Smith, Burnham Methodist Church officiated. He read Psalms 23 and 93 and "Some Time We Will Understand." He based his gospel message on 1 Corinthians, 13:12, "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face. Now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."
Howard Leeper, Arthur Sipe, Paul Kline and Harry Shannon sang two quartet-selections, "Abide with Me" and "Rock of Ages."
Burial was made in Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown. Casket carriers were: Frank S. Spigelmyer, Raymond Moore, Samuel Mowery, Ralph Hall, Harvey Reeder and John Betlyon.
May relatives and friends were at the funeral. Among them were: Mrs. Norman Ford, Manchester, N.H.; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Watts, New Cumberland; Mrs. Lizzie Brannon and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brannon, Mifflintown; Mr. and Mrs. Percy Seibert, Saxton; Miss Gladys Knepp, McClure; Mrs. Elsie Aigler, Youngstown, Ohio.
