Donna Diane (Boatwright) Honeycutt, age 58, of Elkhart, Texas died June 8, 2010 at Elkhart Oaks Care Center in Elkhart after a prolonged battle with cancer. Her burial at Pleasant Springs Cemetery in Palestine, Texas was under the direction of Emanuel Funeral Home. Donna is buried beside her paternal grandmother, Simmie Etheredge. Donna's father, Leo, is buried on the other side of his mother. Donna was born in Palestine on November 19, 1951 to the late Leo Brooks Boatwright and Willie Nadine (Bernard) Boatwright. She is survived by her daughter, LaDonna Kaye Shores and husband, Bernie, and their children, James Edward Pickle, Zane Shores, Neil Shores, Sierra Shores, and Miranda Shores. She is also survived by her son, Joe Anthony "Bubba" Honeycutt Jr. and wife, Sonya, and their twin daughters, Ever Lee Honeycutt and Bonnie Lee Honeycutt.
