Logan - William Henry Goodsell, 71, died Monday evening at his home here of a heart ailment.
Born Oct 19, 1876 at Highland Corner, Mich., he was the son of Charles and Deborah Etcell Goodsell. He was married to Jane Robinson McNeil, Oct 16, 1896., in the Logan Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He moved to Logan at the age of 12 and attended the Logan City schools. Later, he was a watermaster for the Logan Northern Irrigaiton Company for 20 years and was caretaker at the Utah State Agricultural College until he became ill.
He is survived by his widow of Logan; one son, Charles, Ogden and the following daughters, Mrs. Geneva Dobbs, and Mrs. Opal Forsberg, Logan; Mrs. Jean Sycamore, Brigham City; Mrs. Vera Sampson and Mrs. Isabell Hansen, Ogden; one brother Charles of Logan; a sister, Mrs Lydia Raeburn, Los Angeles, Calif., and 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Burial in the Logan City Cemetery.
