Mrs. Maria "Mariannina" Buonaugurio, in her 107th year, of Medford, died Tuesday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. She was the wife of the late Pasquale Buonaugurio who passed in 1980. Mrs. Buonaugurio was born in Italy, daughter of the late Thomas and Anina (Piccolo) DiNitto. She was educated in Italy and emigrated to the United States at the age of 23 and settled in Somerville, she has been a Medford resident since 1944. In earlier years Mariannina was a seamstress employed in the clothing industry. She lived in her home until the day she died, receiving exceptional loving care from her devoted daughter Marie. She loved to cook, spend time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was the life of the party at family gatherings. She is survived by a daughter with whom she lived, three sons, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Sister of the late Civita Gallinaro and Salvatore DiNitto.
