Second Lieutenant Isgrigg served with the
350th Base Unit from DeRidder Army Air Base,
Louisiana.

He was killed in the line of duty when
B-26B Marauder #41-18239 was crash landed,
due to engine failures, twenty miles south
of the airfield, near Longville, Louisiana.

LIEUT. ISGRIGG'S FUNERAL TOMORROW

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Parker-Hunsaker chapel for Second Lieutenant Billy E. Isgrigg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Isgrigg, 2022 Pennsylvania avenue, who was killed in a plane crash Thursday night near Longville, La., while on a routine flight from his base at Lake Charles, La.

The Rev. E.W. Love will officiate. Military rites will be held at the grave in Mount Hope cemetery. The body will lie in state until noon tomorrow at the home when it will be removed to the chapel. The body arrived in Joplin this morning.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ezra Hunt, Ed Ross, Harold Crume, Benny Rush, Louis Green, Guy English, Bob Pearson and Raymond Call. Active pallbearers will be pilots from the Independence, Kan., army air base.
