Chuck has arrived at Rainbow Bridge! Chuck was born at home and passed away at home after a short illness. Chuck was a Lover, a Fighter, a Charmer, a Schemer, a Leader, a cat like no other. He was a 'lap cat' and if he chose to sit on your lap, then he SAT on your lap, purred and rolled over so you could pet his belly. Chuck loved to be brushed, massaged and carried around like a baby. He was pampered, spoiled and cherished.

When Chuck was a kitten, he let every cat know that HE was going to be the Boss of the Neighborhood! He wasn't afraid of any dog, no matter what their size. Chuck's favorite daily activity was to sit on the front porch and survey HIS kingdom. If a stranger dog or cat approached, they better watch out!

***Chuck was a real Party Animal! He would go across the street to a house that had a hole cut in at the bottom so you could see into the backyard. Chuck and the other cats would hang out there all night. It was the "Kit Kat Club" and Chuck was totally in charge. If he didn't want a cat coming to the Club, he made sure they Never came back by chasing them out and down the block! About 6:00 in the mornings, Chuck would come back to our house, eat a huge breakfast, then take a long nap, to get ready for the evening and another all nighter at the Club.

Chuck loved eating! He would eat at least 2 cans of cat food and a handful of dry chow every day. When I baked chicken, he could eat the meat of 3 drumsticks and a thigh in less than 5 minutes. If he was thirsty and there was a glass of water or milk in sight, then Chuck would not hesitate to help himself to your drink, or if there were hamburgers, hot dogs, meat or cheese around, he expected to get some.

Chuck is probably now surveying the fields past Rainbow Bridge, looking for old friends and foes and letting EVERYONE know that he is there and he is going to be the 'top cat'. I bet even St. Francis was surprised when Chuck arrived!

My beloved Chuck, I will miss you so much, but I know that we will be reunited for eternity. I send my Love to you, Akhee, 'Flea Collar' and all the other animals, fish, birds and fauna there and await the Happy Day when we are all together again...

***YOUR GRAND NEPHEW CHARLIE HAS ARRIVED AT THE BRIDGE! Charlie arrived today, March 14, 2014. He'll be easy to spot because he looks so much like you, Chuck. Take care of him until I get to the Bridge, okay?

***THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO VISITS MY CHUCK AND LEAVES A MESSAGE, FLOWERS OR TRIBUTES. I APPRECIATE THEM ALL!

*****Big Daddy Manuel has gone to Heaven today (June 02, 2015). I know you'll be at the entrance of Rainbow Bridge to greet him, Chuck, when he comes by to visit. See you both one beautiful day!

***Hi Chuck. Be on the lookout for a sweet, cute little black cat. One of my feral cats, Miss Kitty, passed away yesterday, Tuesday, March 01, 2016. She had always had problems with eating food and she was so SHY and hiding all the time. The Vet said it was a wonder she lived this long (1 year, 7 months) because of her health issues. I know you'll be at the Bridge, ready to invite her in to register with Saint Francis. See you both one happy day!
