DOYLE - James D. "Denny," 58, Johnstown, passed away Oct. 2, 2004, at the VA Hospital in Aspinwall, Pa. Born Nov. 18, 1945, in Paris, Texas, son of James and Evelyn G. (Shannon) Doyle. Preceded in death by father, James E. Doyle. Survived by mother, Evelyn G. of New Florence; beloved wife of 23 years, Ann M. (Antonikas); children, Thomas Joseph Doyle of Irving, Texas; Candice Paulette, married to Allan Berry, of Flower Mound, Texas; stepdaughter, Kim, married to Greg Geisler, of Downingtown, Pa.; stepson, Jason Scott Riek of Los Angeles, Calif.; brothers-in-law, Anthony Antonikas, married to Priscilla (Jakubic), and George Antonikas, married to Dorothy (Golias), all of Johnstown, and Chris Antonikas, married to Eileen (Lambert), of Murrysville; sisters-in-law, Gloria Molchany and Barbara, married to Bernard Fatula, both of Johnstown; and grandchildren, James and Jack Berry and Zachary and Alex Geisler. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A 1963 graduate of Laurel Valley High School and a 1967 graduate of Clarion University. U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he received the Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and National Defense Service Medal and several Bronze Star Medals. He served with Company D, 1st Battalion, 7th Calvary, during search-and-clear missions in Quan Loi. Previous owner of Coppell Locksmith, Irving, Texas. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Rochus Catholic Church, the Rev. Charles M. Amershek Jr. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. Military graveside rites by Menoher Post 155 Military Ritual Team.
