She was a native of Plaquemine, LA, resident of New Orleans, LA for over 70 years and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA for 5 years due to hurricane Katrina. She was born to late Wallace Davis, Sr. and Lodo Leggo Davis. Wife of the late Emanuel Branch, Sr. Mother of Emanuel II (Joann), Herbert, Sr. ( the late Ocile), Inett, Sr. (Patricia), Lois Beautiful Isom, Inez Linville, Gilda Branch, Pamela (Joseph) Carter and the late John "Boonie", Jr. Sister of Wallace Davis, Jr. (Joan), and the late Dorothy Mae, Nora Lee, Anna Davis, Margie Jefferson, Almena Nell Davis, Morris Davis and Clarence Davis. She is survived by a devoted brother-in-law, Robert Jefferson, Sr., and devoted cousin, Edith Hamilton, 37 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
