Methodist Church with Rev. G. A. Morgan in charge. Assisting with the services were Rev. B. C. Land, pastor of the First Baptist Church and Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
Mrs. Curry was born in Chesterfield, South Carolina, December 20, 1886 [sic 1885] and was reared in that city. She moved to Jonesboro, La. with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Horton, and was married to Mr. Curry May 16, 1916. Since that time she has been a resident of Winnfield.
Surviving are the husband, Warren W. Curry; three brothers and two sisters: N. L. Horton, Winnfield; Mrs. F. Hancock, Port Arthur, Texas; Mrs. L. Vail, Birmingham, Ala.; Jack Horton, Shreveport; and Robert Horton, Monroe, La.
