Eva B. Barnette 76, of Parkersburg died May 3, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born in Parkersburg August 11, 1926 a daughter of the late Richard Joseph and Elma P. McIntyre Stoops. She had worked for North American Airlines in Columbus, Ohio and the American Viscoe Company in Parkersburg.
Surviving are her son: Richard J. Barnette of Parkersburg, a daughter and son in law: Suzanne and Michael Fox of Mineral Wells, 3 grandchildren; Daniel Joseph Barnette of Columbus, Oh., Michael Hunter Fox and Chloe Suzanne Fox both of Mineral Wells, 2 sisters; Linda Hersman of Harrisville, WV., and Esther Snider of Parkersburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Starling E. Barnette (Tunney) in 1988.
Services Tuesday 1PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend L. Norman Butler officiating. Burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mineral Wells. Visitation Tuesday Noon till 1:00 PM.
