Joyce Pauline "Polly" Gerber, 86, Independence, died Saturday, Jan 21, 1995, at the home.

Mrs. Gerber was born in Oklahoma and had lived in this area since 1926. She was a member of the Walnut Park RLDS congregation.

Her survivors include her husband, Raymond Gerber of the home; a son, Gerald M. Gerber, Independence; a daughter, Jean Livingston, Lee's Summit; three brothers, Wallace Wood and Loren Wood, both of El Dorado Springs, Mo., and Lavern Wood, Blue Springs [should be Odessa, Mo.]; a sister, Eunice Fox, Stockton, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

Services were today at Speaks Midtown Chapel. Burial was in Mound Grove Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the RLDS Temple Fund.
