He married Mary E. Kennett 12 October 1935 Benton County, WA.

He passed away in his home in Harrington, WA. His funeral was held in the Harrington Community Church.

Mr. Schultz Laid To Rest

Funeral services for Sam Schulz were held Monday, at the Community Church with Rev. Melvin Fenner officiating. Mr. Schultz was born at Odessa, Washington, in 1905 and passed away at his home in Harrington on October 30.

He is survived by one son; Theodore Schultz of Olympia; one daughter, Mrs. Earl Wham (Cathryn) of Spokane; three sisters, Mrs. L. E. (Mary) Samuelson at the home; Mrs. Emil (Lydia) Flath, Wenatchee; Mrs. Catherine Bibioff, Seattle; 7 brothers, Herman of Milton-Freewater, Ore.; John of Grandview; Carl of Davenport, Wash.; Dan of Phoenix, Ariz.; Adolph, Albert and Delmar all of Harrington; three grandchildren, Debra, Dyan and David Schultz of Olympia. He was a member of the Bluestem Grange and the Davenport Odd Fellows Lodge.
Mrs. Dean Armstrong was organist and Greg Knapp as soloist. Pallbearers were Ed Mecklenburg, Olin James, Jim Kinzel, Howard Hose, Sam Kubota, Walt Tanke and Harold Dibble.
