Harry Albert Baldwin was born to William Elias Baldwin and Eva Katherine Bigsby on July 27, 1904 in Esbon, Jewell County, Kansas. His brothers and sisters are Clara Etta (St. John), John Berton, Edna, Maude May, Eva Myrtle (Mullen), Emma, Guyneth, Edward, Glen, Ida Lenora (Frydendall), Laura Katherine and Fred. His step-brothers and step-sister from his father's first marriage to Bridget Biddy Sullivan are Charles William, Stella Ann (Beam), and Thomas Frank.

Harry served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the 1920's and moved to Idaho in the late 1920's living with sister Clara and her husband Tim St. John. He worked as an car mechanic for my different garages and car dealerships. He married Flossie Belle Petty on June 9, 1932 in Idaho Falls, Bonneville County, Idaho. Born to them are Flossie Geraldine, Keith Albert, Vivian Kay, Lottie Jeanine, Larry Dean, and Kenneth Roy Baldwin. Harry and Flossie lived in Idaho Falls for many years then moved to a trailer park just on the south side of Fielding Memorial Cemetery south of Idaho Falls. They then moved to a trailer park in Lincoln, Bonneville County, Idaho.
