Werner C. Almand,76, of 2819 Commerce Road (Athens,GA.) died Sunday, December 19,1999 .
A naive of Madison County, Mrs. Almand was a daughter of the late Paul D. and Cynnie Dillard Collins. She was a member of Center United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Veteran of World War II.
Services will be held today at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Richard Kathy officiating. (Note- weather caused a change of plans- service held at the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home).
Survivors include her husband , Thomas A. Almand, a sister ...., two brothers..... George D. Collins, Athens; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center Methodist Church....
The family is at the residence.
