Private Carlos C. Richmond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Richmond, of Meadow Bridge, recently spent a furlough with his parents. Private Richmond entered the army in November and is now stationed with the infantry at Camp Shelby, Mississippi.

PVT. RICHMOND RITES PLANNED TOMORROW
Funeral service for Pvt. Carlos C. Richmond, 19, who was killed in action Jan. 15, 1945, in Belgium, will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Meadow Bridge Holiness church.
Rev. William Houchins will officiate and burial will be in the Wickline cemetery. The Nickell mortuary of East Rainelle will have charge of arrangements.
Pvt. Richmond is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arville Richmond of Meadow Bridge, Fayette county; one sister, Mrs. Mary Louise Lilly of Meadow Bridge; and two brothers, Curtis and Lawrence Richmond, both of Meadow Bridge.
