JENNINGS -- Funeral services for Lillie Mae Ryder Blessington, 75, will be
at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 20, from Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic
Church.
The Rev. James Gaddy will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery
under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 8 a.m.
Mrs. Blessington died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, in a Lake
Charles care center.
She was a resident of Lake Charles for 54 years after moving there from
Jennings. She was a graduate of Welsh High School. She was the retired
owner of Blessington Hydraulic Service. She was a member of St. Margaret
Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society of Lake Charles.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Mabry of Beaumont, Texas, and
Sharon Jane of New Orleans; two sons, Howard Leo Blessington II and
Terrence W. Blessington Jr., both of Lake Charles; one sister, Mattie
Blanche Louviere of Welsh; and seven grandchildren.
