Andrea Jean Krall of West Covina, CA. was convicted in the shooting death of her boyfriend, Elijah Johnson, in a Hacienda Heights motel room on July 15, 1999. Krall's attorney fought to have her charged with manslaughter, claiming she was the victim of battered woman's syndrome. On October 31st, 2000, the jury convicted Krall of second degree murder. On November 29, 2000, the judge sentenced her to 40 years to life.
On November 19th, 2004, she commited suicide at the Cental California Women's Facility in Chowchilla.
Andrea was the mother of 5 children. Her oldest son, John, was found dead under a bridge in Fullerton on New Year's day 2010. He is laid to rest several graves away from Andrea.
