He worked as a janitor for the Yuba City Unified School District. He also worked for Brownsville Water District and the AFL-CIO labor union.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors include two daughters Pam Hall of Linda and Sharon Casey of New Cumberland, Pa.; a son, Dean Casey of Milwaukie, Ore.; a sister, Mildred Wilson of Chico; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Alene F. Cox.
