Mrs. Alma Grissom Barber, 75, beloved
member of the Centerville Community,
died at her home on September 19,1949
after an extended illness.

Services were conducted Sept. 20th at the
Oak Grove Cemetery, with Pegues Funeral
Home in charge of the arrangements.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Grissom of
the Centerville Community, she was married
to John T. Barber over 51 years ago. She was
a member of the Oak Grove Church for more
than half a century.

She leaves her husabnd; four daughters,
Mrs. Tula Johnson, and Mrs. Sam Bourland of
Tupelo, Mrs. Evie Whitaker, and Mrs. Sibyl
Barber of Centerville; six grandchildren, two
great grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs.
Wannie Thomas of Centerville, Mrs. Maude
Forbus of Baldwyn, Mrs. Ella Kellum and Mrs.
Lena Boren of Texas
