Mrs. Louise Murchison, age 89 of Crockett, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2007 in the Windfield Healthcare Center. Mrs. Murchison was born April 3, 1918 in Tehuacana, TX and lived in Crockett since 1946. Mrs. Murchison was a charter member of the First Baptist Church where she taught the Beginner's Sunday School for 33 years. Survivors include her sons John S .Murchison III and wife Dottie, of Austin, Jimmy Murchison, of Salado, Danny Murchison, of Crockett; sisters-in-law Nell Robinson, of Waco, Hattie Edna Crow, of College Station, Nell Worden, of Vernon; brother-in-law Bill Murchison of Okla.; grandchildren Michaelle Carter, Nicki Murchison, Andy Ackley, Tosh Murchison, Smith Murchison, and Mary Beth Murchison; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by husband John Smith Murchison; and daughter-in-law Nona Beth Murchison. Funeral Services for Mrs. Louise Murchison will be held Saturday, August 11, at 2:00 p. m. in the First Baptist Church in Crockett with the Rev. Kenney Dickinson and the Rev. Bill Murchison officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Park in Crockett, TX.
