Albert A. Rickman of Waverly died at St. Marys Hospital in Emporia at 8:30 pm Monday August 26, 1963. He was born in Waverly November 10 1880 He served as Sheriff of Coffey Co from January 1929 to January 1933. Mr Rickman was an insurance agent. He was married to Jessie Ramey Nov 1, 1900 at Waverly. He leaves his wife of the home,one son Clyde Rickman of Waverly, two daughters Mrs Florence Makepeace of Burlington and Mrs George Jennings of Waverly. two sisters Mrs Fannie Ellard of Kermin CA., Mrs Nellie Hunsaker of Saratoga CA., a brother Ernest Rickman of Santa Ana CA
Mr Rickman was a member of Waverly Methodist Church Funeral services will be held there Wednesday Aug 28 at 3:30 pm conducted by Rev.W.E. Wakefield. Internment will be in the Waverly cemetery. Jones Funeral Home at Waverly made the arrangements.

Mrs Don Jones sang "Just as I am" Sweet Hour of Prayer" accompanied by Mrs Willard Ryan at the organ
Casket bearers were Glenn Anderson, Harold Glummo, Maurice Moore, Ray Baxter, John Huggard and Ralph Beard
